THE BEACH TRAVEL.....

21st on October 2021 I and my friends go to beach in Potuwil. It was a very quiet and beautiful day. A journey that I had been dreaming of for a long time. That day was able to go on that journey with the permission of everyone. So we left a little early in the morning so we could enjoy the day beautifully.

We rode bikes with our friends. The surroundings were beautiful and we went on our way like birds through the cold wind. We left a little early in the morning so we stopped at a shop for breakfast.

So we drink Masala tea and eat Tose, wade. After breakfast we set off again. We arrived at the beach two hours later. Then we headed out to sea to tread the waves and we played and took photos had a lot of fun. We ordered lunch from there.

It tasted great. After lunch we went to look around. Reluctantly we were ready to go home again. On arrival we stopped for a cup of tea at same place where we had breakfast and drank the tea and started coming to home. At the end of the trip everyone went back home and I came home too. So that day was a very fun day as well as a beautiful day.

    HOW I SPEND 1st OF JANUARY 2022.

That day was a very happy day. Because there are so many fresh expectation tp fulfill in the new year. This day is very special for all of us as it is a day that can start beautifully amidst the blessings of all. On that day I wished everyone a Happy New Year in all respects. 

Then our our cousins came to our home. That's why it's another interesting day. Talking to them and spending time with them is a great because it is a lot of trouble during this time and I will not meet often so that day is a lot of fun. That day we sang, dance, cooked delicious foods and did a lot of things.

We enjoy that day and we did various works. We walked to around our village. We saw a beautiful pond and I picked Lotus flowers. We spend there a few time and come back to home. Then we cleaned up and had dinner and chat with cousins a lot of time. Then cousins were went to their home. After that I and my mother cleaned house and went to bed. That day was a very joy full day.

 A Vacation I Spent.

My family and I went to a trip in Jaffna last year. We went our own car. There are so many things to see in Jaffna. First we went to see Nallur Kowil.

I have been heard that it is an attractive place in Jaffna. This kowil can be described as a place of worship not only for Hindus but also for other religions. Next we visited Nadadeepa Temple.

 It was a very famous place among the Buddhist people. But I have been heard the Tamils also worship there. A valuable place of historical significant. There is also a popular history story about this temple. Therefor Buddhist it is a blessing to worship this. Jaffna Dutch Fort has been very nice place to visit with family.

    So we went visit it. We had our lunch in the fort. We took some photos. It has been still the same as the Dutch made it. Next we visited Jaffna library.

In the past this was a very valuable place but after it was set on fire and destroyed many valuable books were destroyed.  It was very sad situation. Now it is repair but the past value is not fully built up.  Finally we went to the kadurugoda temple. It is beautiful place and we worship buddha. 

 After being there for a while we headed back to home. We very happy our vacation trip. 😊

 The  grates  achievement  that  changed  my  life.

             

We are born into this world to move towards certain goal. that goal leads us to great victories and sometimes to great defeats. It depends on whether our purpose is good or bad.

A person must have a purpose. Because it also determines the future of our lives. I had several goals that I had achieved and the best goal that changed my life was to pass the A/L exam.

I did my A/L exam in 2019. I have got 2A's and 1C passes. The results changed my life a lot. If I talk about that change,

Firstly I was able to hone my skills. Because after my exam, I tried to pass on my knowledge to others. I gave my knowledge to a lot of pupils. After passing the A/L exam, my life took a different path, that is entering university life. That was the best thing I got after passing exam well.

Even though I could not go to university with the current situation in the country getting used to the university education system making new friends and setting a goal and going through it was a big help making life successful. As I mentioned above the greatest achievement that change my life was to pass the A/L exam well and I realized that working hard can get good results. So I changed my life to work hard

 So I just said what I got from the greatest achievement that change my life. I think I can probably do a lot more with that experience in the future.  

 

 

DEEGAWAPI TEMPLE.

Deegawapi temple is located in the Ampara district of the Eastern province. It is a place of worship of historical value. It was made by king Saddatissa. Therefore it is an important temple that has been in existence since ancient times.

Legend has it that the buddha visited this place. Tourists also visit this place which is of  archeogical value. This dagoba was built at the place where the buddha meditated. The temple is currently undergoing maintenance and has been subjected to some adverse effects the recent past. 

In addition to the old Deegawapi temple, a new temple was also built. It consists of several accompanying dagabas. It also an area frequented by wild elephants. So we left before dusk. Devotional song programs and Vesak lantern exhibitions are held every Vesak and Poson month based on this temple.

I'm so glad to be able to see such a valuable place. They must also be preserved for future generation to see. Even who we went there the people who came to see it had littered and polluted it we removed it and cleaned it place. By going there one was able to worship at the temple and collect merits.

An exhibition.......

In January 2020 by school held a exhibition. Grades 6 to 13 were give the opportunity to join the exhibition at the class level. As A/L students we decided to present designs that are relevant  to the relevant subjects. A creative tree with expressions related to the Sinhala subject and some subject matter were presented through various posters. 

I got involved in work related to the subject of music. We used many musical instruments such as Piano, Sitar, Saxophone, Clarinet, Tapura, Tabla etc...for the exhibition. We created a small music studio back then and sang songs. We had not been sang songs to a studio. So that exhibition we were get good experience across it. We did a folk song program and we sung various folk songs were there.

The exhibition was held for 4 days and students from various school came to watch it. Together with the support of all we did it successfully. Came a lot of problems but we discussed and  resolved those things and did a good work. The students and teachers from other schools praised us a lot and it was a great pleasure for us. In the exhibition was covered all disciplines such as science, maths and art. We and everyone who came to see it a great deal of got big knowledge.
