MEMORABLE DAY......

The most memorable day of my life our tour to Colombo. We went for a party to Colombo in last year. We stayed in two day in Colombo hotel. Those were two beautiful days in my life and it was a nice family trip where we enjoyed a lot. 

The trip started on a Sunday morning. We hired on a bus from our home and my uncle's family and my auntie's family joined with us. The ride on the bus was a lot f fun and I enjoyed with my cousins. By Sunday evening we arrived t the hotel where we were staying. For the first time in my life I was able to stay in such a big hotel. so I was very happy about that. But back then I was a little scared because those things are not something we are used to and have no idea hoe to go and stay in a place like that. Also we first went to the hotel other than the hotel where we were staying. 

We were a little embarrassed there about now it's so much fun to remember. Some how, we attended  the party and left to visit the sights around Colombo. We returned home on Tues day evening. So the trip to Colombo can be described as one of the happiest days of my life.

                                        JAPAN SAAMA CHAITHYA

 One day me and my friends went to see Japan Saama Chaithya. It is located in Ampara district. It was designed by a Japaniese monk. It is modeled on a Japanese temple. It is religious rites are performed in accordance with Japanese customs. We went to the  temple and offered flowers and walked to see it.

The reverent who lived there told us about it's past. books, table, sheets and bowls used by the first monk can still be seen there. The temple is located in a beautiful environment near a lake🌳🌼🌷🌴. After that we went to see in dagoba. It was a big dagoba and beautiful.

The birth of buddha, the enlightenment, the passing of the pirinivans were also seen there. The temple dagoba is surrounded by 99 small accompanying dagobas. 

On Sunday February-28-1988  the them president of Sri Lanka. The monk who lived there told us that was opened by Mr : J.R Jayawaradane.

Also every devotee who goes there gets sugar balls as a gift. We also got sugar balls and they were very testy. 

The japan sama chaithya is a beautiful and valuable place in to Ampara city. let us preserve this sacred place which is still revered by many devotees for future generation to see.

                           SUMIYURU DS YASHORAWAYA.📯

Sumiyuru DS Yashorawaya is an annual music concert in our school. grades 6 to 13 students can apply to it. Students will be selected through an interview. I also participated in the interview and qualified for a at the concert. I was so happy to be selected for it out of so many students. About 25 students were selected for the singing including me. We worked very hard and practiced our songs. It was a good opportunity to meet talented students.  

 I was selected chorus singing team. That day I was wearing a red dress. It was a beautiful Gowon. I dressed it and I sang my song. My song was "PERADA MAHA RA". It was originally sung by "Wisharada Nanda Malani". That day I sang that song three times. I proudly presented it by singing in front of thousands of children because this opportunity is not available to everyone. 

Remembering that day brings great joy. Almost every year we get a new lease of life for our talents through this concert. That day I got a big experience. At the end of my song I got a big audience and I was very happy to it. so those memories still have linger in our heart.

                                                  🍄MY SISTER AND ME🍄

Hi👋...My name is Roshini Madhuka Rathnayaka. I'm going to talk about "Me and My sister". I have twin sister. She is my one and only sister. Her name is Roshani Malika Rathnayaka. You can see that

even our names are the same😎. She and me are same age. Now we are 20 years old. We were born 3rd of October 2000. Our hometown is Ampara. Four members in our family including two of us. The way we both think is the same but she quickly gets angry and sensitive. From a young age we went to the same schools. 

We had same friends and we were together. We were never apart. With the A/L exam results we both selected in university😄 but we were not qualified for the same university😞. My sister qualified University of Sri Jayawardanapura. I qualified at University of The Visual and Performing Art.

We still doing our work together because we didn't go to university with covid-19 epidemic but the day we go to university we have to go to two place for the first time. We will be very sad😔😔😒the because we are not used  to being alone. May we both hope to learn to better and doing a good job. My sister ambition to be a counselor and my ambition is to be a lecturer. May we both be able to make that dream come true. I love you my sister and bless the triple to you.😊😊😊😊

HIDING IN A SARI POT AND PLAYING,

TOLD GOOD AND BAD,

TO BLAME FOR THE MISTAKE,

THE ONLY PLACE I,

CAN'T THINK OF TO LEAVE,

            HISTORY SEMMINAR.....📙📘📗   

 

                                 

I did a history semminar with my friends one year ago. we joined it through a school friend mine. The semminar was held at Kotawehera Vidyalaya, Ampara. It was held for O/L students and was conducted by  throughout us for 3 days. There  was a little fear😅 on the first day because their education depended on those two days we spent. On the first day we received a warm welcome from the teachers who were there. With that recognition we left a humble pride😊. Sometimes we got angry😡because some kids spin so much.

           We did our responsibility exactly because the showed us the results. those children were                          education in the midst of many difficulties and the there were no teachers to teach them                         certain subjects😕. Weak children were more numerous but their in terest made it easer                                                                    for us to carry on our task

 

We got a new experience through it and also took some photos as a memento📷. It is a great honor to   share our knowledge with others and we are very happy to share our knowledge with others. With this work realized how hard the teachers worked for us. So we remember them at this moment because it was their guidance that enable us to do this well.

                        So those memories are beautiful memories that are very valuable to us.😊

       

Usually any school goes on an educational trip. It is limited to four or five days. We were very happy when the teachers informed us that we were going on an educational trip. We waited impatiently for that day to come. I could not even sleep the night before the trip was scheduled to take place because I was so eager to go on that trip😅.

          As discussed on the first day of the tour we visited each location and arrived at our lodge in Colombo. That night we all prepared the food ourselves and it was a fun and very valuable experience for us. On the second day we set out with the teachers to to visit the Colombo museum, the lotus pond, planetarium and the gall face. Visiting the museum and the planetarium we were able to see many for its highlights. Then the evening we left for gall face where we fun with friends, teachers and a variety of delicious food and drinks😋🍤🍦🍹.

          In addition we did not forget to take photos as a memory of all the places we visited. In this way we were able to not only have fun during the four days spent on the tour but also get a lot of new experiences with teachers and friends. On the last day we were very sad😔because there was less chance of having another chance to have fun like this with friends and teachers. Those memories and those feelings that remain in the mind are beautiful memories that will never be forgotten.
